1992 - BMB opens in Ottawa, Canada, as a management consulting firm providing strategic advice to both private 1996 - An international presence is launched and BMB takes on increasingly complex projects around the globe while building its strong Canadian foothold. 1998 – The firm makes a strategic move and introduces three new partners...a ten-fold increase in revenue is seen. BMB is awarded a major multi-year contract for provision of management consulting services to Canada’s Department of National Defence and a standing offer for the provision of energy management services to the Canadian Air Force. 2000 – BMB begins work on the reform of energy management across the Department of National Defence, consolidating the firm’s position as a leading supplier of defence-related energy consulting services. 2001 – Our “Integrated Management Frameworks” methodology is introduced leading to further demand from Canadian federal government clients seeking our services in improving management processes and practices. 2002 – BMB becomes a leading supplier of portal and content management technologies to public and private sector organizations. 2003 – We are awarded a major supply arrangement for provision of strategic cost management services to the former Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. 2004 – BMB becomes a Cognos channel partner, enabling the firm to better meet needs in the areas of business intelligence and performance management solutions. 2005 – BMB becomes recognized as a world leader in fuel consulting, serving clients in the military, mining, airlines, and oil and gas sectors across the world. 2006 – BMB begins work on an integrated financial and non-financial solutions implementation in a major federal government department, which becomes recognized as a best practice in the public sector. 2007 - BMB spins off two new companies with the BMB brand, BMB Data Management Inc. (www.bmbdata.com) and BMB Fuel Consulting Inc. (www.bmbfuel.ca), in key public and private sector vertical markets. Each of the three corporate entities experiences significant growth. The same year, BMB wins a major competitive bid to supply performance measurement consulting support to one of Canada's largest public sector organizations.
